How to find which game your friends are playing
- Type your Roblox username (or anyone’s) and press Look up. Press 🙋 This is me to remember it on this device.
- Wait a few seconds while we check who’s online — big friend lists are checked in batches.
- Friends in the same server are grouped together: press Join all to hop into their server.
- Friends shown as location hidden only share their game with their own friends — try Follow, which works if their settings allow you to join.
Player Lookup FAQ
Do I need to log in to see where my friends are?
No. Friend lists and online status are public on Roblox. You’ll see the exact game and server for everyone whose privacy settings let everyone join them; friends who only allow their friends show as “in a game · location hidden”.
Why can’t I see the server of some of my friends?
Roblox only shares someone’s server publicly when their “Who can join me?” setting is set to Everyone. Without a login nobody can see more — and OofWiki never asks for your password or cookie (sites that do steal accounts).
What are mutual friends?
Press 🙋 This is me on your own profile. When you then look up someone else, you’ll see how many friends you have in common and can filter the list to just them.
Can I see someone’s recently played games or playtime?
Not for other players — Roblox doesn’t share that with anyone. You’ll see their favorite games instead. For your own playtime, use the Playtime Tracker.
Is a username available?
If you look up a name nobody has, we ask Roblox’s sign-up check whether it could be registered and tell you.
Why does checking take a while for big friend lists?
Roblox only allows a few online-status checks per minute for each website, so large lists are checked in batches. The page keeps going by itself — just leave it open.
