Beginner tips
- Hatch your free Starter Egg at the Nursery, then save Bucks for a Cracked Egg (350), Pet Egg (600) or Royal Egg (1,450). Royal Eggs never give Commons and have the best Legendary odds.
- Carry an egg while you finish tasks – it hatches after a handful of needs are completed.
- Every pet need you complete earns Bucks and ages your pet. Playing as a baby lets you finish your own needs and your pet's at the same time for double rewards.
- Build a 'grinding house' with a bed, shower, food bowl and other care items so you can finish needs without walking around the map.
- Log in daily: login streaks give Bucks and stars, and Star Rewards eventually unlock a free Golden or Diamond Egg plus pets like the Ginger Cat and Toucan.
How to get Bucks
- Complete pet needs (and baby needs if you play as a baby) – this is the main income.
- Work a job such as the Pizza Shop; longer shifts pay more.
- Claim daily login and Star Rewards.
- Run a Lemonade or Hotdog stand if you own one (these were Robux purchases).
- Join events – Halloween 2026 pays Candy Corn rather than Bucks, so spend that on event pets and items before it disappears.
Neon and Mega Neon pets
- Age a pet through its six stages: Newborn, Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen, Post-Teen and Full Grown.
- Bring four Full Grown copies of the SAME pet to the Neon Cave and place them on the big pedestal next to the fairy Nixie to make one glowing Neon pet.
- The Neon Cave is under the large bridge between the Neighborhood and Adoption Island – swim under the bridge to find the opening.
- Neons have their own six ages: Reborn, Twinkle, Sparkle, Flare, Sunshine and Luminous.
- Four Luminous Neons of the same pet make a Mega Neon, which glows in shifting rainbow colors.
- Age-up potions speed this up: the Tiny Age Potion adds 3 tasks of progress and the Age-Up Potion adds 30.
Potions
- Fly-A-Pet and Ride-A-Pet potions permanently let you fly or ride the pet you feed them to.
- Age-Up and Tiny Age potions add aging progress; the Super Age-Up Potion was a limited-time sale that can take a Legendary from Newborn to Full Grown.
- Since the May 2026 Potions Update you can craft Bonus Aging, Bonus Bucks and Secret Talent potions at Tim's cauldron using ingredients that drop from pet needs.
- Fun potions like Small Sip, Big Brew and Translucent Tea change your pet's size or look for 10 minutes.
Halloween 2026 quick guide
- Earn Candy Corn from pet needs (200 each), the Ghost Gallery minigame (up to 5,000 per round), Crypt graves and the bonus pile next to the Nursery.
- Do the daily tasks under the purple pumpkin tab for 4 Crypt Keys a day; beating the Ghost Gallery boss gives one more key.
- Use Crypt Keys on graves to find Twigs, Candy Corn and the ladder down. Clear all four Crypt levels for the free Mummy Spider.
- Place 8 Twigs in the Hotel nest to unlock the Jacobin Pigeon (4,000 Candy Corn).
- Crypt Keys can't be traded and vanish when the event ends, so spend them.
- The event is expected to run until the end of October 2026, with new parts released weekly.
