Getting started
- Pick Pirates or Marines when you join. Either works for leveling, so choose the side you like.
- Take quests from the Quest Giver on each island that matches your level, beat the enemies or boss, then move to the next island.
- Spend your stat points on a plan: Melee and Defense are a safe start, then add points to whatever you fight with (Sword, Gun or Blox Fruit).
- Redeem 2x EXP codes right before a long grinding session, because the timer starts as soon as you claim them.
- Learn the movement and Haki abilities early (Air Jump, Flash Step and Aura) - they make fights and travel much easier.
Getting fruits
- Fruits spawn somewhere in the map every hour and vanish after 20 minutes if nobody grabs them.
- The Blox Fruit Dealer restocks with random fruits every 4 hours, so check back or hop servers to find the one you want.
- Robux buys a permanent version of a fruit from the in-game shop.
- Don't panic about rarity early on: a cheap fruit plus a good fighting style is plenty for the First Sea.
After Update 30
- Each First Sea island has three hidden Island Secrets. Finishing them unlocks that island's teleporter and raises your level cap by 5 per secret.
- Finishing all 40 secrets is how you reach the new 3,000 level cap.
- The Secrets Master in Middle Town teaches the hidden Advanced Combat style to players who clear the secrets.

- The official game page warns that exploiting is auto-detected and leads to bans that cannot be appealed.
