How a run works
- Each floor has machines. Stand at one to extract it, and press Space when the skill check line lands in the box.
- Failing a skill check makes noise and draws Twisteds to you, so stop, hide and come back once they leave.
- When every machine is done, the elevator opens for only a few seconds. Anyone who doesn't make it in time is out.
- Deeper floors need more machines and bring tougher Twisteds, so teamwork matters more the further you go.
Tapes, Ichor and research
- Tapes are the in-run currency. You get them from floor pickups, finished machines, surviving floors and meeting Twisteds. Unused Tapes are lost when the run ends.
- Spend Tapes at Dandy's Shop in the elevator. If your team keeps skipping the shop, the deadly Twisted Dandy can show up.
- Ichor stays with you between runs. Earn it from machines, research capsules, the first ability use on each floor, and codes.
- Spend Ichor in Dandy's Store on Toons and Trinkets, and in Dyle's Store on skins, stickers and profile prints.
- Research goes up when you pick up research capsules and run into Twisteds. You need it to unlock many Toons and Trinkets.
Survival tips
- Do machines far from the elevator first and save the ones next to it for last.
- Break line of sight by running around walls and objects instead of running in a straight line.
- Watch out for Blackouts: Twisted Brightney makes them more likely, and Brightney's Night Light helps your team see in the dark.
- Mix Toons in your team: fast extractors on machines, fast runners to pull Twisteds away, and healers like Cosmo or Sprout for support.
- Leave untaped research capsules alone if you're not sure. One of them might be Twisted Rodger in disguise.
Halloween 2026 event tips
- Collect Pumpkins during runs to buy Ribecca (300), Soulvester (700), Eclipse (1,500) and Gourdy (3,000 + 2,500 Ichor).
- Spend your Pumpkins before the event ends, because they reset to zero afterward.
- Log in every day for the Halloween calendar rewards.
- Hunt down all seven Gourdy's Lockbox pieces for the Locked Away badge.

Who is the most expensive Toon?
Astro is the priciest regular-shop Toon at 5,000 Ichor, and you also need 100% research on Twisted Astro and to encounter Twisted Dandy.
How do I unlock Main Toons like Vee or Sprout?
Main Toons need 100% research on their Twisted, a set of Mastery Quests on another Toon, and a big Ichor payment.
When does the Halloween 2026 event end?
Event schedules list it as running until 6 November 2026. After that, the Halloween Toons and Pumpkins go away until next year.
Can I still get the Christmas and Easter Toons?
Only when their holiday events come back. They're bought with Ornaments or Baskets, which only exist during those events.
Is Dandy's World finished?
No. The official game description says it's still in Alpha, so bugs can happen and the game keeps getting updates.
