Beginner tips
- Start with Vessel or Honored One: both are free and have simple, easy-to-learn combos.
- Learn to dash (Q) out of stun and ragdoll early; it is the most important defensive skill.
- Block (F) only works when you face your attacker, so turn toward them first.
- Save your awakening (G) for when you are winning a fight, not as a panic button.
- Using all four skills and M1 combos in real fights raises a character's mastery, which adds damage and cuts cooldowns.
Game modes
- Public servers: up to 20 players fight freely on the Shinjuku map, with items that spawn around it.
- Duels: 1v1 fights, the main competitive mode.
- Roulette: rotating minigames such as First to Twelve and Sorcery Clash that give steady XP and Cash.
- Build Mode / Workshop and Skill Builder: make your own builds and moves (the More Build Saves pass adds save slots).
- Private servers: good for practising and the only place to use some special characters.
Cash and emotes
- Cash ($) comes from kills, match performance and events, and is spent in the Shop.
- Emotes are random rolls: $250 or 25 Robux for one, or $2,500 or 225 Robux for a 10-pack.
- Victory flashes play after a Duel or Roulette win and can be bought with Cash or Robux.

How do I escape combos?
Press Q to dash while stunned, or dash toward the enemy while holding M1 to ragdoll-cancel.
Why doesn't my JJS code work?
JJS codes expire very fast and are case-sensitive, so copy them exactly and redeem new ones quickly.
How many players fit in a server?
Up to 20 players per server, according to the official game page.
