Steal a Brainrot Guide & FAQ — Tips, Game Passes & Updates

Beginner tips

Buy cheap Commons and Rares from the Red Carpet at the start; each one walks to your base and starts earning Cash every second.
Keep swapping weak brainrots for better ones – your base only has so many slots (28 max after Update 62).
Watch the Red Carpet for Gold, Diamond and especially Rainbow (10x) mutations – they earn far more than normal versions.
Redeem BESTBRAINROTEVER while standing near the Red Carpet with enough Cash to buy the La Vacca Saturno Saturnita it spawns.
Rebirth once you have the Cash and the required brainrots – you start over but with more slots, longer locks and better gear.

To steal, slip into an unlocked base, grab a brainrot and carry it back to an empty slot in your own base. The owner gets an alert, so be quick.
If you get hit while carrying a brainrot you drop it and it goes back to its owner – target bases close to yours to keep the trip short.
Press the Lock Base button in your base to raise lasers for 60 seconds (plus 10 seconds per rebirth). Only friends can enter, and thieves inside get trapped.
Keep your bat out (slot 1) and left-click thieves to make them drop your brainrot.
Rebirths unlock stronger slaps and gadgets such as the Grapple Hook, Invisibility Cloak and Web Slinger; the Grief Shield (Update 62) absorbs one hit from griefers.

Admin Abuse events and themed events hand out mutations and traits that multiply income.
Fuse, Craft and RNG machines let you turn brainrots into rarer ones – many new Secrets only come from these.
Lucky Blocks contain exclusive brainrots; since Update 62 they no longer have timers.
Rituals happen when the right brainrots are placed together and can give special traits.
