Beginner tips
- Learn the warning signs: flickering lights = Rush or Ambush, a 'psst' = Screech, purple glow = Eyes.
- Always know where the nearest closet or bed is before you loot a room.
- Search drawers for Gold - you spend it at Jeff's shop partway through the Hotel.
- Bring a light source. Dark rooms are where Screech spawns.
- Use Vitamins and Crucifixes for the hard parts (Figure's library, Seek chases), not early rooms.
- Play with friends - if you fall too far behind, Void or Glitch will pull you forward anyway.
Getting Knobs and revives
- Knobs are earned by getting through doors and finishing runs, and are spent in the Lobby before a run.
- Redeem codes in the Shop for free Knobs, Stardust and sometimes revives.
- The official game description says joining the LSPLASH group gets you free revives.
- Each code only works once per account.
Beating Figure at Door 50
- Figure can't see - it follows sound.
- Crouch-walk around the Library and collect the books for the lock code.
- If Figure comes close, hide in a closet and complete the heartbeat mini-game.
- An Alarm Clock can be used to distract it.
