How a round works
- One player is picked as the Killer and everyone else is a Survivor.
- Survivors repair generators by solving puzzles and try to stay alive until the round timer runs out.
- The Killer's job is to eliminate every Survivor before time is up.
- Playing rounds earns in-game money ($) and EXP, which you use to unlock new Survivors and Killers.
Beginner tips
- Start with Noob or another free character to learn the maps before spending money.
- Work on generators when the Killer is far away - finishing objectives is how Survivors win.
- Stick near teammates: support characters like Elliot, Dusekkar and Taph are much stronger in a group.
- Sentinels such as Guest 1337 and Jane Doe can stun the Killer to save a teammate - time your abilities.
- As a Killer, learn each Survivor's tricks (clones, fake-outs, stuns) so they don't waste your time.
- Save up for characters you actually enjoy; Azure (2,000 $) is the most expensive.
