How a run works
- Your goal is to survive 99 nights in the forest with your team while keeping the campfire alive.
- During the day, chop trees for logs, collect food and scrap, and open chests for better gear.
- At night the forest gets dangerous: wolves come out and the Deer (or sometimes the Owl or Ram) starts hunting players who stray from camp.
- Cultists raid your camp starting on Day 4, and raids come back about every 20 minutes with tougher cultists.
- Use scrap and resources at the crafting bench to build defenses, storage and better tools.
Keeping the campfire going
- Feed the fire with fuel like logs, coal and fuel canisters to fill its bar.
- Filling the bar levels the campfire up, all the way to Level 6. Higher levels need more fuel and open up more of the forest.
- Even at Level 6 the fire still needs refueling, and rain or blizzards make it burn through fuel faster.
- Keep a spare stack of logs near camp so the fire never goes out at night.
Rescuing the missing kids
- There are four missing kids: Dino Kid, Kraken Kid, Squid Kid and Koala Kid.
- Each one is locked away and guarded by animals like wolves, alpha wolves and bears.
- Guardian animals drop colored keys (red from guardian wolves, blue from guardian alpha wolves, yellow and grey from cave bears) that open the locked areas.
- Since the Kids Have Jobs update, rescued kids help out at camp: Kraken Kid fishes, Squid Kid cooks and Koala Kid digs up scrap.
- Rescue all four AND survive to Night 99 to get the good ending.
Diamonds and classes
- Diamonds are spent on classes in the lobby. Cheap starter picks include Camper (10), Scavenger (25) and Medic (40).
- You can earn diamonds from chests (rare drops), reaching survival milestones like Day 50 and Day 99, badges, the Diamond Chest in the Cultist Stronghold, and codes.
- Diamond packs can also be bought with Robux.
- Level up a class by doing its tasks to unlock its Level 2 and Level 3 perks.
Survival tips
- Always carry a flashlight at night so you can stun the Deer, Owl or Ram.
- If something unkillable is chasing you, run back toward the fire instead of fighting.
- Kill crossbow cultists first during raids since they hurt you from range.
- Upgrade the campfire early so more of the map opens up and you can find the kids sooner.
- In a group, split jobs: some players gather fuel and food while others look for the kids.

How do I get the good ending?
You need to survive through Night 99 and rescue all four kids. Reaching Night 99 without saving everyone gives the bad ending.
What are the current codes?
Active codes are awardwinner_yay, forestwakesup26 and afterparty, and some sites also list the chat code 'yay fishing'. Redeem them with the Codes button in the lobby's Diamonds menu.
How do I get more Diamonds?
Open chests, reach survival milestones, earn badges, raid the Cultist Stronghold's Diamond Chest, and redeem codes. Diamond packs are also sold for Robux.
What is the Helping Happy update?
It's a pre-Halloween quest from 3 October 2026 where you find Happy the scarecrow's scattered body parts and rebuild him. It adds Happy's Scythe, three badges and the Happy's Cart furniture.
When is the next update?
A Halloween update is expected around 17-18 October 2026, following the game's usual two-week update rhythm.
What game passes are there?
Right now only the Decorator Pass (199 Robux) is for sale. It helps with building and decorating your camp.
